Working life started for me in the print and design industry while only 15 years of age. Learning all aspects from art and design, plate making and darkroom skills to gold foil blocking, to print finishing and numerous other print room tasks. There was of course the actual printing side which using a variety of small offset machines over the years single and two colour, I produced quality work from single to full colour. As well as the hands on side of the industry pricing and quoting together with sales and client management was an area that taught me a great deal.

Some years on I am still involved with the design of promotional material for clients and have an excellent trade printer who produce a first class job for my clients every time.

19 years DJing and Presenting at various functions Pubs, Clubs, Weddings, Hen Nights were a regular DJing feature until 1999 when I decided to take a break. I compared shows at Poole Arts Centre, Bournemouth Pavillion and The Bournemouth International Centre with the Bootleg Beatles. In between times many roadshows were fitted in as well as several appearances on local radio during the late 90s which were good fun and also good experience.

Four years (2000-2003) were spent working at Poole Speedway as their announcer and playing music during race meetings. Then followed a year and a half at Weymouth Speedway after being approached to become their presenter by the promoter at the brand new track which was built around the towns football clubs training pitch.

Serious health problems in 2003 made me change direction work wise and start building websites rather than being stuck in the print workshop all day every day. With the world of the Internet growing all the time, small to medium size companies as well as individuals are realising the advantages of online adverts for their companies which are available for potential clients to view 24/7.

Weymouth Speedway were only granted six home Speedway meetings in 2003, I presented at all of them. The tone was set for the Wildcats to enter the Conference League the following season full time. When the 2004 season arrived following the many training schools held throughout the cold winter months, the Wildcats took to the track in League action for the first time in 20 years. I presented at all the home meetings during 2004 before deciding to take another years break in 2005. A return to Weymouth Speedway and presenting from 2006 to present has enable me to watch some of Britains young talented riders progress their careers.

After writing many reports for The Dorset Echo and Weymouth Speedway during the 2004 Speedway season covering the Wildcats meetings, I have moved into a PR area with Tim Helm Media and Xposure Media catering for several clients. I produce press releases covering numerous projects from photo shoots to the more mundane latest install of a printing press or new member of staff who is going to set the world alight in their new post.

My biggest passion is photography which started when I was a school boy and encouraged by my late grandfather who was a keen amateur photographer who taught me well. I helped prepare studio lighting and back drops for a professional photographer during a four year spell in the mid to late eighties. More recently I have been helping with a small photo club based in north London who generally hold meetings once a month around the UK as well as making two trips to Portugal each year.

I have been fortunate enough to photograph some of the best racing drivers in Formula 1 at Silverstone test sessions during the last few years, as well as many top and up and coming Speedway riders around the UK.

I regularly photograph for Redcar and Mildenhall Speedway clubs for inclusion on their promotional websites. I do not sell these images they are for the sole use of the Speedway clubs and any rider for their official websites.

Extreme Sports including Motor Cross are fantastic sports to photograph, apart from these I like to produce stunning portraits and landscape images, all of which give me great pleasure.
